Last day in Africa

Just in case I forgot where I was today was true to the pace of Africa. We got ready for the day, taking our time, I packed a few things but there is always time for that later-right? We had planned on going to chapel with the students but at 9am someone walked into our room asking us if we were ready to go. Ready to go where we wondered? Oh well, we grabbed our bags, cameras included and followed. We've learned not to ask questions at this point, it doesn't really matter anyways. Just get in the car and go where they take you. We went to visit some homes that will be built or rather rebuilt by Sister Connection. It was a lovely surprise, being welcomed by women and children. The pastors who refer these women to Sister Connection are doing a great work. They don't ignore the need, they don't question how it will be done but they do speak up, requesting homes and sponsorship for these women- good work friends!

We plan to go to lunch today with some friends and then finish packing and saying goodbyes but like we've come to learn you can never quite expect things to go as you plan. Africa I will miss you!
