Salihu asked that I extend my thanks to the donors who made it possible for us to watch the Jesus film in Fulani language-so I do with a full heart. THANK YOU. Laura and I sat in the parlor with 17 boarding students and two kiddos from Bature's family as the giggled in delight over finally understanding a film. We had watched it the night before in a different language and spent most of the night translating it for them, their reply "too bad it isn't in our language so we could really understand it", our reply "well wait, I guess we do have it your language". You could hear the shouts of happiness from the assembly hall all the way into our back bedrooms. I wish you could have seen it, it's one of my highlights for sure. To watch 7 yr old Yusuf translate the film for Laura and then look over at me and giggle and smile in glee 'cause he knows more than we do and he's learning about Jesus :) They loved finally being able to understand. I loved watching them discover yet another new thing as they once again heard about my friend Jesus.
